In the Nintendo 64 game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, there is a part where the hero, Link, must face off with his shadow, Dark Link. This Dark Link is pretty much an exact replica of Link, just scarier and more vicious. There is only one way for the hero to defeat this opponent, all other means are futile. He is definitely a worthy opponent for Link, but he must be defeated in order for the hero to move on in his quest.
